LOUSANNE RODÉ, MSW, RSW
Lousanne Rodé received a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Manitoba and a Masters of Social Work from McGill University. Lousanne is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers.
Lousanne has had a private practice in Kingston since 2004 offering services for families and individuals relating to various topics including depression, relationship stress, lifestyle transitions and loss. Lousanne is particularly enthusiastic about working with step-parents and parents to help their children through the process of separation and divorce. Since 2004 Lousanne has been an appointed clinical panel member for the Office of the Children's Lawyer. As such, she has significant experience with the dynamics of high conflict in family systems. Lousanne offers services to parents and step-parents working through custody and access issues such as developing parenting plans and effective communication strategies.
Lousanne has provided counselling services to adults and children through her work in various employee assistance programs and medical health organizations. She has knowledge of the lived military experience. Since 1997 Lousanne has worked with issues concerning domestic violence, sexual assault and helping men to strength their parental role and relationship with their children.
