Alicia Rogerson obtained her Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor in 2013, after completing a Bachelor of Arts (psychology) from the University of Windsor in 2002 and Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Manitoba in 2012. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers.
Alicia has worked with survivors of child sexual and physical abuse including facilitating parent support groups and advocacy through her work at the Children’s Advocacy Center. Prior to this, she implemented behavioural therapies for children with autism.
Alicia has recently joined private practice with Family Consultants Kingston. She has experience working with individuals in crisis and has provided services in various settings to youth and adults facing issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, substance use, anxiety, depression, separation and divorce. She has been an appointed clinical panel member for the Office of the Children’s Lawyer since 2015, and in this role, assists parents and children in high conflict custody and access disputes.
Alicia particularly enjoys working with adolescents, and assisting adults through life’s many transitions and challenges.
